On point as ever. Thanks Henry for the amusement and biting satire you've provided over the years in your different iterations - long before you unmasked yourself as author. You really deserve recognition as one of the best writers of our time.
A painful but prosaic read, worth it once again, just for the ‘Streeting’s Law’ quote!
Yes you do indeed wonder why Labour seems to keep making a bad situation worse with policies that just don’t make much sense. Plenty fodder here for the world-leading PNG Courier sage!
Yes, Streeting's Law skewers it fair and square. We must hold our politicians to account even the ones we have hope in. Too much 'gloom and doom' from Labour. They could mix it up with more 'positive' messages but would they get through to the mainstream media? I still have hope that by 2029 things will have improved.
I can't see it. I want to, but I can't. This is the time in their tenure when they can push bold progressive policy through, not in the last 24 months with an election on the horizon.
Try reading Mike Brock - the Plot Against America; draw the parallels with our country and the future seems even more grotesque, Henry 😔. Satire is going to be the only panacea.

That's really kind Andy, thank you. I'm just ploughing my furrow and seeing what happens!

I found this harder to be funny about, they're not the comically abominable Tories, they're just thoroughly depressing.
Maybe a ‘Reasons to be Cheerful, articles 1,2and 3’ would fill a few column inches in coming weeks. Go on, you can make it work!
Never has the old trope "they're all as bad as each other" seemed more true. Very articulately put as always Mr M. 👌

Incisively accurate! Nothing changes which is the depressingly sad truth.

Cheers for the tip
Amusingly written, but it does leave me saddened in it’s accuracy…
Sorry it's not funnier... the material just isn't there!
Hey - I hold you accountable for the amusing writing only, not the dismaying reality
Copy that! Jokes incoming.
Absolutely nailed it Henry. They are such a disappointment.
